La briqueterie and its partners came together as early as 2012 to prepare the B-Project as part of the retrospective marking the 500th anniversary of the death of the Dutch painter Hieronymus Bosch. Over a two-year period, the five international artists involved in the project were hosted in residency in several European cities, engaging with Bosch’s work through museum visits, exchanges with art historians, and explorations of places familiar to the painter. Immersed in the emotions, sensations, and reflections arising from this process, each artist created a short form that was presented at partner festivals and museums.
